These terms explain the rules for using Sumaro (the "app"), available at https://extractor-contable.onrender.com. The app is operated by David Villatoro, an individual residing in the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States ("we" or "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The app lets you upload invoices or receipts as a PDF or a photo. An artificial intelligence system (Google Gemini) reads the document and extracts data such as vendor, date, total amount, tax and a summary, and saves that data in your history, together with the photo or PDF of the receipt, so you can view it and download it in Excel. The app helps you organize your records, but you are responsible for checking that the data is correct and for keeping any documents the law requires you to keep.
Artificial intelligence can misread a document, miss data or get amounts, dates or taxes wrong. Always review the results before using them. The app is a support tool; it is not accounting, tax or legal advice. For tax or accounting decisions, consult a professional.
You may not use the app to:
If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. In cases of fraud or abuse, there is no refund of the subscription or of unused credits.
We do our best to keep the app running, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. There may be pauses for maintenance or failures of outside providers (hosting, AI, database or payments).
If we decide to stop offering the app, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance and cancel subscriptions so there are no more charges. We will also give a prorated refund for paid credits you have not used.
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses, fines, penalties or damages resulting from using the extracted data without reviewing it, or for indirect damages. In any case, our total liability to you will not exceed what you paid us in the last 12 months.
You can ask us to close your account at any time by writing to davidspaint10@gmail.com. When it is closed, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may update these terms. If the change is important, we will notify you by email or in the app. If you keep using the app after the change, you accept the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the federal laws of the United States.
